Thank you!

The new tarball still includes one file, doc/bibThesis.bst, under the LaTeX license; however, I can't find a copy of that license in the tarball; I think it should be added.

Approving.

Hello Ineiev,

all files contain now a copyright and license notice.

For the documentation, the subfiles refer now to the main file doc-cp-tools.tex. Hopefully, the FDL is referred correctly there.

Hi Ineiev,

thank you for the comment. I will make the changes today or tomorrow. I'm sorry for the delay - I had some busy days last week.

Hello, Tilo!

Please make sure that all files in your tarball have valid copyright and license notices, including example-datafiles/.

For the documentation, we recommend using a form of license notice slightly different from what you wrote: first, it refers to the "main" documentation source (referring to COPYING means that the user has no option to use later versions of the license), and in the "main" source, we use the "(at your option)" wording, it can't be taken for granted. (Note that doc/cp-tools.bib still lacks copyright and license notices.)

Registration Details

  • Name: heat capacity tools
  • System Name:  cp-prediction
  • Type: non-GNU software and documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v3 or later

Description:

The major part of cp-tools is the Python implementation of an algorithm that estimates and predicts heat capacity (cp) of a crystalline material, which is intended to be useful for the material science community especially for the CALPHAD (Calculation of Phase Diagrams) people. The predicting algorithm is part of my PhD thesis and will be published soon.

In addition, several scripts are provided that helps to extract necessary parameters from experimental data.

Therefore, the project aims not only to provide an implementation of the mentioned algorithm but also to support free software for the scientific community, especially if its development received public funding.

Other Software Required:

1) SciPy + BSD + www.scipy.org
2) NumPy + BSD + www.numpy.org
3) gmpy2 + GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 + https://github.com/aleaxit/gmpy
