Privat nutze ich gerne Produkte von Apple. Wenn ich mir die Zip-Datei von Filius herunterlade und unter macOS Catalina die Filus.command starte, dann scheitert der Programmstart daran, dass die Filius.command keine Rechte zum Ausführen hat. Erst ein chmod +x bringt die Rechte. Der normale Anwender ist damit aber schon überfordert. Es gibt aber ein Freewaretool, mit dem man wunderschöne Apps für macOS erstellen kann. Mit Icon für das Tray etc. Und das funktioniert innerhalb weniger Sekunden. Vielleicht schauen Sie sich mal Platypus (https://sveinbjorn.org/platypus) an. Ich habe für meinen privaten Gebrauch schon mehrere Java-Programme mit Platypus in schöne Apps gepackt. Auch hier biete ich gerne meine Hilfe an, auch wenn ich kein Programmierer bin.
