We cancel this task, keeping the query-string based URI scheme and rejecting the proposed PATH_INFO one, to avoid odd cases as:

  /offers?action=edit&id=&section=general

  /offers//edit/general

We have analyzed both options.  PATH_INFO is more clear to the eye, however it is a lot less readable because it lost the notation: object, parameter=value

Therefore we keep using URI scheme based on query string. Read full rationale at: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnuherds-app-dev/2007-06/msg00013.html
