The CPU usage is a known bug. Essentially, the tricks we use to keep the CPU usage down in GNU/Linux don't work the same way in Windows.

As for the Quadra thing, that's in the pipeline. I really hope to see something like that one day, but Crack-Attack! just wasn't designed for it initially. We'll be updating the networking protocol to handle something like it, and then the graphics will come much later.

Hi,

thanks for the new Windos-Binaries. I've tried to get it compiled myself, but my lack of C++-knowledge i couldn't get it working.

Is it correct, that Crack-Attack has to use the full cpu all the time when playing? It doesn't matter which quality-level or graphic resolution i choose--> always 100% cpu-usage.

(Win XP SP2, 1 GB Ram, AMD64 3200+, GeForce6600GT with actual nvidia-drivers...)

Keep up the good work!

(And perhaps sometimes a multiplayer-mode like Quadra: http://quadra.sourceforge.net/ ?)
