Still happens. :-(
I've looked at the stack trace and the disassembly, the place where it crashes is the next instruction in dazuko_init after returning from xp_sys_hook. I think the page protection hack has some problem, but I don't know what's wrong exactly.

Please verify if the problem still exists with 2.3.3-pre1.

Can you try this with the current CVS HEAD? There have been some commits lately that may handle this situation.

This also happens with kernel-2.6.19-1.2895.fc6, and I did configure with --sct-readonly.

Please try configuring using

--sct-readonly

(in addition to the arguments you are already using).

Some information about this can be seen here:

http://www.dazuko.org/tload.shtml#CRASH

(although this describes the opposite problem).

I tried the latest 2.3.2-pre2 version of dazuko and compiled the module as follows

./configure --enable-syscalls --systemmap=/boot/System.map-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5smp

Compilation worked fine.
modprobe dazuko yields the following result:

This was also present in the 2.3.2-pre1 release but I thought it was fixed in pre2.

Matthias
