Not solved in today's CVS
You can test it on paris.fr.powanet.org (i'm on #linux)

weechat seems to add & and ~ prefixes on users that get cmode +a or +q, even on servers that doesn't support those prefixes

=> /names #linux
[21:57:29]             -@- Utilisateurs #linux: [@nuxien [...]

(logically, in the nicklist the problem is the same)
After the /names, prefix is reset to @
