BlackBerry (in my case a Bold 9000) can not be used with gnome-phone-manager. The g-p-m project asked me to create a feature request to have it supported in gnokii.
The issue seems to be that BB is using custom protocols. See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593496 on how they might plan to implement BB support by perhaps using the libberry library in NetworkManager.
Let me know if I can provide any other information.
