In my workflow, I most often import patches which I received by e-mail. After importing a patch, the next thing I'll do is manually delete the temporary file. This could be optimized by adding an option to "quilt import" (say, -r) to remove the imported patch file automatically.

This would not only optimize the workflow, this should also be more efficient as in many cases we should be able to move the patch file instead of copying it.
