New code was added in the master branch. The site HTML5 player is replaced by LM. The old code does not work - the website changed. The slides are not visible when LM is used. It seems impossible to have usable LM player with parts of the site HTML5 player are present. If there is demand for the slides during playback with LM I might try to support it. I'm considering that the bug is fixed. I'll leave it as open for a week and then close it completely.
Hi, Its been a long time, but I was very busy and had no time for Linterna Mágica. Since rev408 it is possible to watch videolectures.net with Linterna Mágica. Unfortunately the links are in a mms:// scheme with which apperantly Firefox has problems which causes the video plugin to not start. I was unable to make it work by setting about:config options for the mms protocol as explained over the Internet. If you succeed, please notify me. It is working fine with Totem and Epiphany. This is all I can really do. Please test rev408 and report back any other issues.
Thanks for reporting. I'll see what I can do at the end of the week.
Video works with lightspark 0.7.1 (unstable and audio doesn't play). Website also provides mms stream link next to video. A sample video can be found here: http://videolectures.net/mit6262f2011_ho_lec07/ More websites supported by lightspark that could be supported by Linterna Mágica can be found here: https://github.com/lightspark/lightspark/wiki/Site-Support
