Hi,
Just tested rev 415, it works with both flash enabled and disabled.
The double window with Viewtube is not meant to be a bug report, just a bit of extra info which I think may provide clues for you to debug LM (i.e LM worked when Viewtube was enabled) Normally I use LM on sites where both LM and Viewtube works (dailymotion Vimeo) except for Youtube and only use Viewtube as a fallback.
Thanks for fixing this.

Hi,
My mistake. With Gnash installed Linterna Mágica detects the plugin, but it seems that Dailymoion does not and doesnt create the DOM object. Or it is destroyed fast enough.
It should be working now with revision 415. Please test and report back. Thanks.
As for the ViewTube double play issue I am not sure that I could do something. Maybe in the long term, but not right now. You will have to enable on of the scripts at a time.

Yes it is adobe flash. Also Viewtube works by itself whether flash is enabled or disabled.

Hi,
I should add that "Viewtube enabled" means just enabling it. It doesn't play videos automatically until you click "play". In these experiements I didn't actually click play, merely enabling or disabling it in greasemonkey.

Hi,
Thanks for the information. Do you use the Adobe flash plugin? It is working as expected with Gnash... though Gnash does not work in Dailymotion.
Having both ViewTube's and Linterna Mágica's players is no surprise for me. After all both do the same thing and will inject their players.
Thanks for the debug logs. I'll try to figure out where it breaks. Stay tuned.

Hi, Just double checked. It is rev 419. But I am more thorough this time. It turns out that it works only when flash is disabled. If flash is enabled then flash just plays striagnt as if LM is not there.
However, there is something interesting. If flash AND Viewtube are enabled then LM does work but on a window below Viewtube's.
I am attaching 4 debug logs for the 4 combinations (without_flash means "without flash and without Viewtube", without_flash_and_viewtube means "flash disabled and viewtube enabled" etc)
Of all only "with_flash" doesn't work

Hi,
Please double check that you have only one copy of Linterna Mágica running and that it is really at revision above 412. Savannah mirrors update on 24 hours and may have older files.
It is definitely still working for me with and without Gnash.
Please provide your browser and its version. Also provide the debug messages of Linterna Mágica, so I can examine where it breaks. Thanks!

Hi,
Dailymotion support is fixed in revision 412. It seems there are no HD links, so support for them is dropped. It should work with and without flash plugin.
Please test the unstable builds from the website and report back that everything is working. Thanks!

Hi,
I can confirm the issue. I'll see what I can do.
Thanks for reporting.

LM doesn't work on dailymotion anymore. It is as if it is not installed at all. If flash is enabled, the video would just play in flash, if not then it just complain that flash is missing. LM is completely invisible.
e.g

Firefox 22 on Ubuntu 12.04, LM rev 409.
I am attaching the debug files, one when flash is enabled, the other when it is disabled.
Thanks.
