should be fixed in the newer release (I think)!?

I'm setting this to "fixed", please send information if this is wrong.

Hi,

that's not a problem at all.
Simply unpack the tar file where ever you want. Then start the storeBackup scripts with full path or set the PATH environment variable in your shell.
This will not interfere with the "officially" installed version.

Also see chapter "installation" in the documentation.

Thanks for the reply!

I'm running StoreBackup on a Ubuntu Precise box (12.04 LTS) and I can hardly update to the latest version of StoreBackup (because I am not administrating the box).

I'll see what I can do.

Regards,
Thomas

Hi,

seems you are using version 3.2. Can you install the actual version (from tar file) and double check if your problem still exists?

Hi,

I call storeBackupRecover with the followning command:

sudo storeBackupRecover -r NameMap.xml.bz2 -t /mnt/hdd3/Backup/Kollatz/ --verbose

After <return> I instantly get the message

VERSION 2013.08.26 11:08:29 13508 storeBackupRecover.pl, 3.2, build 360

(due to --verbose). But then nothing happens. After an hour or so I kill the recovery with <ctrl>c. No files in the target directory.

I have no clue what to do. Any ideas?

Regards,
Thomas
