Found an annoying bug in the Ruby plugin, where the class Encoding is missing several constants (such as ::UTF_8), after hours of debugging I tracked it down to this line in /src/plugins/ruby/weechat-ruby.c. " if RUBY_VERSION.split('.')[1] == '9'n" This check is supposed to include additional files if the version is 1.9.x or greater. Problem is, the current stable release of Ruby is 2.1.0. This type of check is pretty atrocious, for obvious reasons. It either needs to be rewritten, or support for 1.8.x should be dropped.
