Regularly, I'm looking to change the ACL for a directory, but at the same time also change the default ACL to the same value. Right now, there's two ways to do this: - Repeat the entire ACL, with "d:" prepended - Run the command twice, once with -d and once without The former is obviously not very robust or easy and even though the latter works just fine, it would be even better if there was a --default-and-normal option that, like -d, sets the default ACL but also the regular acl at the same time. The actual option name probably needs some more thinking, but it should get the idea across. Perhaps adding a --normal, so you can run setfacl --default --normal to set both the default and normal versions?
