Sat 03 Feb 2018 07:36:25 PM UTC, comment #4: Thomas, thank you very much for your attention. As David pointed out, we did some testing and it seems related to the terminal's column/width number. For example, the attached file was tested using GNOME Terminal, if I set the terminal text column width to 72 (default at least for me), then it renders correctly, but not if I set to 64. To do such test I did the following: Open GNOME Terminal Go to Edit, Profile preferences. In General tab, check/enable custom terminal size. Set column to a value significantly shorter than the current one. Save and exit the preferences window, you should be back to GNOME Terminal, still unchanged. Open another GNOME Terminal (a new window, not a tab). Use Lynx in the new window. (file #43164)	Adonay Felipe Nogueira <adfeno>

Sat 03 Feb 2018 05:37:20 PM UTC, original submission: The attached file renders the tables incorrectly in Lynx. The rendering causes the table columns to be separated only by a single space, making the text confusing to read. The bug was found by Richard Stallman and, according to David Hedlund (from #fsf IRC channel in chat.freenode.net), RMS really wants this fixed so that he can browse https://directory.fsf.org/ . Tested browsers which are affected Lynx 2.8.9dev.16 (installed from GNU Guix in Trisquel 7). Tested browsers which are not affected Lynx 2.8.8pre.4 (installed from Trisquel). GNU Emacs EWW is not affected by this issue, so the tables display normally there (emacs-version says: 25.3.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.22.15) of 2017-10-07.
