Thanks for pointing this out Raul. You're right! The indentations were gone after the conversion. I listed a few of the Markdown convertors I tried here in the following task: Generating About webpages from README-hacking.md. Having a quick look, "Lowdown" seems to convert the indentations better than the one I used previously.
Nevertheless, Mohammad fixed this issue manually in task #15823.
