Sat 06 Nov 2021 05:55:56 AM UTC, original submission:

When mounting a webdav share which has a self signed certificate with no "common name" attribute in the certificate, mounting fails with the following error message:
/sbin/mount.davfs: Mounting failed.
Server certificate was missing commonName attribute in subject name

I have also tried adding the certificate as a trusted certificate in pem format on the conf file using the line:
trust_server_cert       /etc/davfs2/certs/serve.pem

However, the error persists. The server is a local are network Nextcloud instance which doesn't have a common name.
