When I run hddtemp and point it to my drive, it says

    /dev/sdb: ASMT 2115:  drive supported, but it doesn't have a temperature sensor.

But smartctl can read the temperature of the disk:

    smartctl -a /dev/sdb | grep Temperature
    194 Temperature_Celsius     0x0002   136   136   000    Old_age   Always       -       44 (Min/Max 20/63)
