Projects approval delayed

New projects approvals, as well as moves from nongnu to gnu, are
currently queued until some post-crack works on Savannah are
completed, mainly adapting the system to the new secure architecture.

We currently do not know when this will be possible again and thank
you for your patience.

Hello, could someone tell us how is this work going?
Have you got some idea about when will pending projects be accepted?
Take your time, I understand this must be difficult, and I'm sure Savannah is turning into the safest place in Earth to have a project in.

I still do not know any ETA for project registration.

I will try to set up some Tasks on project administration to publicly keep track of features implementation.

Also, some people asked about helping. You may submit membership requests on project administration using the interface in your "My Groups" webpage.

It's a pity to see Savannah half-dead. Yes, projects that are already here can continue developing, but I wonder how many users Savannah have already lost during the four months of ongoing "recovery".

I'm not blaming anyone, but I'm absolutely sure that if anyone had been working actively on these problems, full Savannah functionality would have been restored long ago. So it's seems to be a natural conclusion that Savannah project is half-dead at present (which I'm surely not happy about).

Sorry to say, but I registered my project in mid december...
More and more I'm looking at sourceforge as an alternative.
I still would like Savannah to be my project's "home", but the delays...

Any ways to empty the backlog of projects?
