Mailing lists will be delayed on Friday

Item posted by Sylvain Beucler <Beuc> on Mon 25 Apr 2005 07:56:34 PM UTC.

The Free Software Foundation will be moving to a new office on Friday April 29, 2005.

Starting Friday morning (GMT-4) and extending through the weekend, lists.gnu.org and lists.nongnu.org (mailing list services) will be unavailable.

The FSF has backup mail servers that are located off-site which will be able to accept mail during the downtime.  This means that mail to gnu.org and nongnu.org will be delayed but will be delivered.

There should be no other interruption in Savannah services.

Running again (posted by Sylvain Beucler, Mon 02 May 2005 09:40:04 PM UTC)

lists.gnu.org is running again and dealing with all the week-end backlog.

The FSF sysadmins took the webserver down to speed that up, and it should be up again within 24h.
