Libunwind 1.5 is released, containing many bugfixes to the dwarf parsing code. It is the recommended version.
Most development is now taking place on github:

The previous mailing lists are mostly unused, you are unlikely to get an answer. Open a pull request or issue on github for best results.

A 1.3.2 release was made on the 1.3 branch.
Version 1.5 is almost ready for release, currently on rc2.

The libunwind homepage is now finally active again. It should have all the contents that used to be at the www.hpl.hp.com web-site, all updated and a bit better formatted.
