Development has accelerated over the past few months.
The next release is almost ready. Due to the considerable number of new features, It will still take a while until everything is tested, and the system as a whole works.
A glimpse into the new features:

I am finishing an Uncertainty analysis tool for Model Builder that will be out on the next major release, meanwhile CVS users will be able to use in the preliminary stages.
The next Major release will probably contain a Sensitivity analysis mode as well.
If I didn't have to teach so many classes I would be able to spit out feature full releases, way more often!!
cheers!

I have just posted a new release (0.1.2) that fixes the parameter bug, which was already fixed in the CVS files.
enjoy!

Since Gnuplot on windows does not accept inputs at the command line, Model builder will not be able to plot in windows but other outputs should work just fine.
Meanwhile, I will keep looking for a decent pure python plotting solution. any suggestions?

I ran some tests and it seems that scipy has a problem with Numeric 21.3 22.0 and 23.0. Because of that we'll have to stick with Numeric 21.0 until this bug in scipy is fixed...
As soon as the next release of scipy is available I'll try those tests again,
cheers,

Model Builder Won't run with Numeric 22 please Use version 21.
I haven't figured it out yet if anybody knows why please let me know...
cheers,

The first release of Model Builder is out!!
just download it, unpack the files to a directory of your liking and run "python PyMB.py"
Remember that you need to have Python installed, as well as Numeric, sciPy, wxPython, and gnuplot.
enjoy,

For those of you who can't wait to try it, there is a working version of Model Builder available via CVS.
just Download the files to a Directory, and type:
# python PyMB.py
remember that you must have wxPython, NumPy, Scipy, and Gnuplot installed
