Working on a stable release 0.7.122.x

The debian freeze comes to an end at 2017-02-05 and it is intended to get into the release "stretch". Currently there is an unblock request accepted for 0.7.122-2.

However the opinions vary a bit about what the release shall include. The first patches included mainly stability improvements. But at my opinion there should be some patches against improved usability. All available here upstream.

The stable GSequencer releases

Advanced Gtk+ Sequencer v0.7.122.1

It includes all patches available 0.7.122-2 is good. It was just one very important patch discarded related AgsJackMidiin causing the application to crash. It was my mistake, just not recognized the initializer was moved. But thinking of a white-space fix.

Coming soon - Advanced Gtk+ Sequencer v0.7.122.2

Brings you back-ported output ports to shown as indicator or led widget. It is considered rather as a extension to the capabilities than a feature. Since the function prototypes involved allow the to specify the widget type. It uses the very same API as input controls and just the existing functions had a need for a patch.

Further built-in effects has got their port descriptors enabling it within the automation editor. This concept is usually used by a plugin. So you can now automate the volume adjustment or control mute. This needed only little effort especially the code was available for more than 2 weeks.

One more important thing was to disable output ports for automation and the automation editor.

This is my chance

Some additional bug-fixes are done, yet. Testing GSequencer is time expensive task since I do it now for 2 days.

The release is available tomorrow after some additional testing:
