Globulation 2 - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
Globulation 2 brings a new type of gameplay to RTS games. The player chooses the number of units to assign to various tasks, and the units do their best to satisfy the requests. This allows players to manage more units and focus on strategy rather than individual unit's jobs. Globulation 2 also features AI allowing single-player games or any possible combination of human-computer teams. Also included is a scripting language for versatile gameplay or tutorials and an integrated map editor. Globulation2 can be played in single player mode, through your local network, or over the Internet with Ysagoon Online Gaming (pronounced yog as in yoghurt).
Glob2 is Free Software, licensed and distributed under the GNU General Public License.

Globulation 2 Beta 4 (0.9.4) has been released. It features numerous improvements to online gaming (including the ability to upload maps), and several highly demanded features (pre-game alliances, building priorities) and completely rebalanced gameplay.

Globulation 2 Beta 3 (aka 0.9.3) has been released. It features major stability improvements to mainly network gaming, but also many other changes throughout the game, and many bug fixes.

A quick, unversioned source package has been released to patch 2 source packaging bugs reported by Vincent Deffontaines. Thank you for testing.
The source currently available from the wiki is now up to date, and should work properly when compiling and installing.
