Thanks for your suggestion. I'll try it out shortly.

However, since I'm a bit worried real mail might be deleted
I was wondering if there's a way to make spamass-milter
reject a mail (perhaps even with a message) instead of
silently deleting it?

Thanks again!
Andreas

If your required_hits score is also 5, then this will work:
create an alies in /etc/mail/alises like this:

nobody: /dev/null

Then run spamass-milter with the -b nobody flag.  There is
currently no option to drop spams at a threshold !=
required_hits (-r 5 would refuse the spam instead of
silently dropping it)

Is there a way to pipe mail that matches X-Spam-Status
5 or higher automaticall to /dev/null from spamass-
milter?

I'm having several virtuser mail addresses that are
forwared to other ISPs mail servers and I want to drop
spam mails on my server. Procmail only works with
emails delivered locally, not those I forward.

I'm running FreeBSD 4.8, Latest sendmail, latest
spamass-milter, procmail and Spamassassin 2.50.

Thanks for any help!

Andreas
