uisp seems to hang when verifying from an atmega128.  i used

# uisp -v=4 -dprog=stk500 -dserial=/dev/ttyS1 \

> -dpart=atmega128 --upload --verify if=rom.hex \
> 2>uisp_stderr_v4.txt
