Now this is getting really weird! i loaded dazuko/clamav/klamav using Yast, but had problems. I removed dazuko/clamav/klamav from my system, as dazuko amarok and firefox do not get along. Firefox and Amarok not loading (except spmetimes!) when dazuko is on the system. Ok, no problems, uninstall with Yast. Crashed before I uninstalled dazuko. Oh well, I thought, rpm -e, and rmmod to remove from sys directory. Excep that whenever I reboot, there it is, back on dev and sys. rmmod is not removing it this time. Help. Also, why cannot Amarok, Firefox (and Yast) not get on with dazuko. Is this a known problem, or something I've done! (I suspect the latter!)

I'm hoping that with my system now clean (and many, many thanks) I will be able to load Dazuko/Clamav without further problems. If I do, I will post here with full details. I'm hoping that, as I have learnt much along the way, I will be trouble free this time!

Thanks again.

The /sys filesystem is a virtual filesystem. You probably have Dazuko loaded, which is why it shows up in /sys. With:

# rmmod dazuko

you should see the /sys entries disappear.

In order for Dazuko to work with AppArmor, you will need to enable syscall hooking in Dazuko.

$ ./configure --enable-syscalls --mapfile=/boot/your-System.map-file

If you post more information about the problems you are having, we may be able to help you. (For example, what is the output of running the configure script. What is the error message in /var/log/messages when you try to load Dazuko?)

Due to (I believe) a faulty method of installation (probably using ./configure) I have dazuko installed into sys/class and sys/module. I cannot delete these. I wish to do so, in order to do a clean install.

I am using Suse 10.2, with an up-to-date kernel. Due to problems that I found were due to attempting to run apparmor simultaneously, i Installed, removed and re-installed dazuko several times, using Smart, Yast, ./configure in a terminal.
