Without the text from the kernel panic there is no way I can help. I recommend posting to the dazuko-devel mailing list. Perhaps one of the other developers has experience with Dazuko on RHEL5.
Hello, yes, I have also tried the --sct-readonly option without any change. I still get the kernel panic. I tried it with two versions 2.3.2 and 2.3.4. dazuko: xp_sys_hook.... Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception. Thank you for your help!
I assume you've already tried the --sct-readonly option as suggested in the FAQ? http://dazuko.dnsalias.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_(Dazuko_2.x)#The_Linux_2.6_kernel_crashes_in_the_change_page_attr.28.29_routine_when_I_load_a_module_with_syscall_hooking_enabled. What Dazuko version are you using?
Hello all, I have several RHEL 4 Servers with Avira Antivir Server and as you maybe know Avira uses the dazuko module for their avgurad. We are planning to upgrade our servers to RHEL5 and therefore I am testing our applications for their compatibility. My problem is that everytime I try to load the dazuko.ko the servers crashes with a kernel panic. Does anyone has the same problem? I have configured dazuko with the following string: ./configure --enable-syscalls --mapfile=/boot/System.map-`uname -r` Unfortunately I have no syslog entries for you (yeah, kernel panics suck ^ ^). Any help will be apreciated :-) Thank you in advance!
