Ok, I wondered if it was ok to delete linkFrom0 or not.

When I looked at previous backup directories and found they didn't have linkFromX files, I figured it must have been some kind of backup to which updateBackup hadn't been applied.

I ended up just deleting the backups for the 10th and 11th because I didn't need them, but it is nice to know I could have run updateBackup with interactive or autorepair and fixed it.

This means you are using lateLinks.

storeBackupUpdateBackup.pl should do this for you. Start it in interactive mode (-i) or with --autorepair.

It also should not be a problem to simply delete the linkFrom0 file (if I understand your situation correctly).

A backup on Jan 11 aborted early with too many errors because it tried to delete an old backup I had already deleted by hand. I then deleted the aborted backup's directory, and tried the backup again later. Now when I try to do a backup, it complains

2 link <../2010.01.11_22.53.59> to non existing dir in </mnt/fs2/fs7-complete/2010.01.10_22.00.38/.storeBackupLinks/linkFrom0>

Should I just remove the linkFrom0 file?
