seems I really had some issues with my mail provider - I didn't get the notification email about this :-( .

I backup a workstation via nfs using storebackup. The exported dir is mounted read-only.

I use pre and postcommand like this [1] :
precommand = mount /backup -o remount,rw
postcommand = mount /backup -o remount,ro

but it makes the backup fail, because  postcommand is executed too early, i.e. before old files deletion. So when storebackup tries to delete files, it's already read-only.
