My submit request for storeBackup 3.3.1 was accepted and forwarded to openSUSE:Factory, see https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/180206
Use the link given in Comment #2 for openSUSE 12.3, 12.2, and Tumbleweed. HTH

I'll mark this as done (for me), because it's out of my influence :-/ .

I updated my repository to storeBackup 3.3.1. Changes file is still for 3.3, yet. Please report problems to: https://build.opensuse.org/home?user=jritzerfeld

Here you can get at least storeBackup 3.3 for openSUSE 12.3:
http://software.opensuse.org/download.html?project=home:jritzerfeld:branches:devel:openSUSE:Factory&package=storeBackup

I plan to update storeBackup to 3.3.1 there and to submit a request for openSUSE:Factory.

Hi,

ChangeLog tells me that I fixed something with storeBackupls.pl and option -v in version 3.2.1.

Can you install the actual version? Your one you are using is 4 years old.

You can install the tar file like described in the documentation linked from this server in parallel to your old version. Simply set the path (maybe manpath) or use full path names.

Can you tell me if the bug occurs in 3.3.1 also on your box?

btw, lots of bugs are fixed since version 3.2 (see ChangeLog), so it's a good idea to upgrade.

Regards
