Done.

I've done this for these files; in the future, be sure to chmod a+r the files before you upload them, and chmod a+rx the subdirectories.

Should I have to configure something to allow access to https://download.savannah.nongnu.org/releases/aamfp/14.0.0/ to everyone?

Before closing the ticket, could you please remove the [A and the two files v.14.0.0_Savannah.tar.bz2 and v.14.0.0_Savannah.tar.bz2.sig in the main folder?

I'd prefer to keep 14.0.0 folder only.

Thank you,

Marco

I've removed spaces and ' from file name, now I can see them.

Hello Ineiev,
it worked! It was a matter of PuTTY private key format!

I've converted the private key from PuTTY to OpenSSH format, and I was able to connect and upload!

Files seems not yet visible in the Download area, but at least I was able to send them up.

Thank you.

I've just tried with

scp -i /drives/F/Chiavetta/Savannah.ppk -v /drives/c/Users/mbresciani/Desktop/v.14.0.0\ \'Savannah\'.tar.bz2 marcobresciani@dl.sv.nongnu.org:/releases/aamfp/

specifying the position of the private SSH key I have on Savannah.

Executing: program /bin/_ssh.exe host dl.sv.nongnu.org, user marcobresciani, command scp -v -t /releases/aamfp/[A

Yes, I know that spaces are evil, but I just wanted to try and this was the fastest solution since I copy-pasted the release name.

This suggests that the usual locations (~/.ssh/id_*) contain no key that your registered on Savannah.  Have you that key on your desktop?

> I'm using normal (web access) login and password.

Login, right; but you shouldn't use your Savannah password, the authentication is via public key only.

Unrelated: having file names with special characters like spaces and quotes makes life much harder for many people.

I'm currently stuck on office PC with Windows and MobaXterm. Im on local terminal using:

scp -v /drives/c/Users/mbresciani/Desktop/v.14.0.0\ \'Savannah\'.tar.bz2 marcobresciani@dl.sv.nongnu.org:/releases/aamfp/

Trying to send a file called "v.14.0.0 'Savannah'.tar.bz2" I have on my Desktop, together with similar naming for the GPG signature.

This is the output:

Hello,
I've just created a new project called AAMfP and while I can use the source code and access the web pages, I can't login to the download area following the steps at https://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/DownloadArea/ .

Download feature is enabled and GPG key test passes fine.

Could you please help me?

Thank you,

Marco
