This is a known bug fixed in the CVS sources (https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?56286), but there is no bugfix release yet.

Until a new release is available for your distribution you may work around this bug:

Instead of unmounting with "umount <mountpoint>" use command "umount -i <mountpoint>". With option "-i" the umount helper umount.davfs is not called (and can't segfault). But now umount might return when mount.davfs is still running. If you created or edited files you should check whether mount.davfs already terminated ("ps ax") before shutting down your system.

When I umount my mounted davfs volume I get a segmentation fault on kubuntu 19.10 with davfs2 version 1.5.5.
The core dump is attached.

The syslog output is:

Nov 26 08:17:21 buero kernel: [79748.450702] umount.davfs[24201]: segfault at 46fa9a00 ip 00007fb847876d8a sp 00007fff1cbde0 a8 error 4 in libc-2.30.so[7fb8477e7000+178000] Nov 26 08:17:21 buero kernel: [79748.450711] Code: f3 0f 1e fa 66 0f ef c0 66 0f ef c9 66 0f ef d2 66 0f ef db 48 89 f8 48 8 9 f9 48 81 e1 ff 0f 00 00 48 81 f9 cf 0f 00 00 77 66 <f3> 0f 6f 20 66 0f 74 e0 66 0f d7 d4 85 d2 74 04 0f bc c2 c3 48 83

I hope you can help me with this issue.
