There is currently no way for a project admin to delete comments.
If there is a specific comment you need to delete, please contact us (best by writing to savannah-hackers-public@gnu.org).

I agree this is a good idea.

Sadly, we currently do not have the man-power to implement it (and evidently, didn't have it in the last 5 years since this ticket was opened).

On the bright-side, we've just made hacking on savannah's PHP code much easier.

Hi,

I though in the past the admin could delete a comment from a bug tracker, but I'm unable to do it now...

To the right of each comment in a discussion is an unnecessarily wide column, containing the admin's name and some icons.  The icons don't do anything when clicked...
This is where I would expect to find a widget for deleting a comment.
