Hi,

There is mismatch between the license included, GPLv3, and the header used in all files: GPLv2 or later. This makes it hard to assess which license the package is under. Anyway, this is a technicality (since GPLv2 or later includes GPLv3), but you should fix it for the benefit of your users. Here on Savannah we like to suggest GPLv3 or later, giving your users the choice of upgrading if/when a new version of the GPL is published.

I am changing the name and approving your submission. Welcome, and have fun!

I've approved your project--welcome on board! :-)

You'll receive a mail notification with further instructions shortly.

Hi again,
You can change the name "Submission of A GNU minimal stack for UDP and/or TCP transactions" with "Submission of A minimal stack for UDP and/or TCP transactions"

Thank you,

Aurélien

Hi Aurelien,

I am reviewing your project on behalf of Savannah, finally we are with you :)

There are a few issues with your submission:

  • The README file should state clearly the license of the package, including license version (in your case GPL version 2 or later).
  • All files in the package (including the README) need to contain the GNU license header; an exception can be made for files under 10 lines, or which are clearly non-copyrighteable in nature. Please see the GPL howto for more information.
  • The package should not contain "GNU" in the name, since it's not an official GNU project. The name would probably be fine without the "GNU".
  • The README file talks about "linux", when on Savannah we prefer "GNU/Linux". Please read this page to learn why.

Can you provide an updated tarball so we can continue with the review process? Thanks!

Hi Aurelien,

We are all volunteers here, and we try to use a FIFO approach to project validation, if only to be fair. We will get to your submission shortly...

Thanks for your patience!

Alex.

Hello Guys, I guess you have such a lot of work, but I really would like to use your Savannah platform even more the git access... If you could review my code... I did my best to fit your need to accelerate the process... :-)
Thank you for your time and your comprehension
