Example: nickregain.pl hooks the IRC ison signal, however the signal is still processed by weechat.  This means that the ison reply is spammed in the weechat status window once a minute for days at a time.

Weechat should allow a script to halt processing of a signal by returning a specific numeric constant in the signal hook.
