Add a New Comment (Rich Markup)
That's a cool feature. Unfortunately, service nicks sometimes do "say" useful things that I still want to trigger activity on. Would love if the feature you mentioned was tied into the /filter system, though :)
You should be able to do that using "hotlist_max_level_nicks", see this post: http://dev.weechat.org/post/2010/12/02/Max-hotlist-level-for-some-nicks If that's OK for you, then we can close this task.
So we've got irc.look.notice_welcome_tags now. That's awesome! A lot of services packages include features to print a user's infoline when they join the channel. A lot of eggdrops and other bots do this too. The format is usually <Bot> [User] msg. It'd be great to prevent these messages from tripping channel activity. It'd almost be nice to have a filter that prevents buffer activity from triggering.
(Note: upload size limit is set to 16384 kB, after insertion of the required escape characters.)
