OK I understood. Thanks for your kind and patient advises. I change a little bit the format of the file so it can accept a header comment and insert the notice and copyright.
This time, I hope the tarball will satisfy all requirements.

Why, SHELECT.help includes neither copyright, nor license notice.

When I say "all copyrightable files" I mean all files longer than 10 lines or so (https://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html). If file format doesn't allow such comments, they should be written in a README file in the same directory.

The last tarball I uploaded contain very few files and I added copyright an licences notices in all if them.
(Thanks for you kind guidance)

Good.

Now, please make sure that all copyrightable files in your tarball have copyright and license notices.

OK I got it. I was not aware of this variant of the licence. I don't want to limit to v3 only. I want to let users (if any!) use it under future versions of the GPL.

So it's definitively GPLv3+.

"GPLv3+" means "you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version", which is what you write. Didn't you intend to let your users use it under future versions of the GPL?

I reviewed the files, added notices in every files, added a copy of the licence in file named COPYING, and a signature of the main program. I also changed the email address use on Savannah to match the one used to sign the program.

About the licence, I did not meant GPLv3+. I use GPLv3.

Hope everything will be fine. My new tarball is attached to this comment.

About the name of the project : on Gna! the project was named SELECT but I recently found this new name SHELECT (SHELL+SELECT) which is more accurate and less common.

Oh, and you meant GPLv3+, didn't you? Savannah doesn't allow any GPLvN-only.

No need to re-submit it. Make sure to include a copy of the license in your tarball, add proper license notices to every file in it, and attach the new tarball to a comment in this task.

Hi ineiev,

You are right. It's a quite old project and it stayed a long time on Gna! (French Savanah) serveur until the server closed and I further decided to move it to Savanah... So the licence is definitively Gnu-GPL3!
Do I have to re-submit the whole project or can you change the the declared licence to GNU GPL3?

Hello, Dominique!

What is the license of your package? The application says it's public domain, but the script in the tarball suggests it's GPLv3+.
