Thank you, approving.

Yes; it's GPL-compatible.

I have added copyright and license notices to ChangeLog, NEWS, AUTHORS, and README. I have used the GNU All-Permissive License. Is this acceptable?

I have attached the updated tarball. Is that the right way to do it?

All copyrightable files in your tarball should have valid copyright and license notices, including README, NEWS and ChangeLog (when they are long enough).

Could you fix that?

Registration Details

  • Name: c2py
  • System Name:  c2py
  • Type: non-GNU software and documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v3 or later

Description:

C2py converts code written in a C-like syntax to Python code. It is written in C and uses the GNU Bison parser generator. It also uses the GNU Autotools.

C2py can run cpy--as it is called--code directly. It uses libpython to run the code if built with it, otherwise it pipes to the Python interpreter if available.

C2py can also run interactively, similar to the Python interpreter, using GNU Readline if present at compile time.

Other Software Required:

Optional (but recommended) dependencies:

  • libpython

  PSF License Agreement
  https://www.python.org/

  • libreadline

  GPLv3+
  https://www.gnu.org/software/readline/

Other Comments:

This is the first project I am releasing. If I've done anything the wrong way, please let me know! ;)
