Currently the project's main output is the final report/paper. However, given all the metadata in a project managed with this system, in the context of project management and grant applications, automatically generated data management plans are also a very useful output.

RDA has a nice recommendation on Machine-actionable Data Management Plans that can be used as a reference. We can fill some parts of it automatically, and others parts can be defined in a special configuration file, allowing the project to automatically have a complete and uptodate DMP, which is also usable by others automatically.

This task was added discussion with Daniel Mietchen and Tomasz Miksa which was triggered by a posting I did on the RDA Exposing data management plans WG.
