Could you please attach the tarball? It does not have to be production-ready, and can be an alpha release. Please review the checklist at <https://savannah.nongnu.org/register/> and then prepare and add the attachment.

What about an additional Wget repository instead?

We need something to evaluate, and GNU evaluation team is overloaded.

Description:

libWARC is a free library for dealing with WARC info files. These files are the backbone of internet archival. GNU Wget already supports WARC, however, this project aims to provide a library split from the code of GNU Wget for all other free software to use

This project will be proposed to GNU as soon as it is ready.
It is intended to be used by GNU Wget and GNU Wget2.

I am the maintainer of GNU Wget / GNU Wget2
