Our key tools are:

  • shell (bash)
    • grep
    • awk
    • sed
  • make
  • git


Replacing the current 'git' link in the top bar by a 'tools' link to a pull-down menu and then specific subpages would be good.

There are plenty of good existing resources on the web; we should just choose a few of the best ones (preferably free-licensed content tutorials or info). The en.Wikipedia entries for all of these are quite likely good both for understanding and for examples for all seven of these. However, we could supplement these with Maneage specific examples.
