We patched libc and use a custom backend script that updates webgroups only.

https://mail.gna.org/public/savane-dev/2005-08/msg00035.html explains why ACLs are not a good solution in this case.

www super-membership remains painy to handle. Suggestions still welcome.

'www' members can commit to any GNU and web-only webpages CVS repository.

To handle this, we have to patch 'useradd' so it can accept more than 32 groups for a user.

One solution suggested by yeupou is to use ACLs.
