I assume there are currently no GUI clients that will be able to use this. So this should be implemented compatibly both in server core and clients. What services should be advertised - gui port and web ui?

Unfortunatly it doesn't appear that there are any Ocaml bindings for Avahi (http://www.avahi.org/) or D-BUS which is used for comuincation with the Avahi daemon.
