Corresponding source code
On avr-chat, a user noted that certain macros (apparently including PSTR() and pgm_read_byte()) would give warnings under "-ansi -pedantic".
Adding _extension_ to these macros in avr-libc header files will allow the macros to be used without triggering warnins with these flags.
Example:
#define PSTR(s) (_extension_({static char __c[] PROGMEM = (s); __c;}))
