We are trying to use the "cvs ls" command in the feature release of cvs. The speed of the command execution is very slow, and I don't understand why it is so slow, since all one needs to do is to find the files in the repository (and not in the Attic) and output them to the user.

Does anyone else see this problem. My server is running Solaris 2.8 and I am connecting using the pserver protocol to a windows cygwin client.
