Tue 08 Apr 2008 12:31:51 PM UTC, original submission:

When compiling the openexr-viewers without the CTL support, the compilation fails.

This happens because the AM_PATH_PKGCONFIG() call that looks for OPENEXR_CTL unconditionally sets the default value for OPENEXR_CTL_LIBS including the OpenEXR_CTL ones. And OPENEXR_CTL_LIBS is unconditionally used in all the Makefile.am's.

I did a patch that fixes the problem, basically by setting OPENEXR_CTL_LIBS to OPENEXR_LIBS like is done for OPENEXR_CTL_CXXFLAGS. This way, also playexr (that I was not able to compile because of missing libraries) should compile as well.

OpenEXR version: 1.6.1 (Debian's)
OpenEXR_Viewers version: 1.0.1 (from sources)
