I have reproduced the bug you must have encountered and fixed it in CVS (12/23/2008). The fix will be released in rdiff-backup 1.2.3.

Hi,

Can you please list the error message you got, and the command-line that you used?

Without the exact error message, I can't determine where the problem might be.

Thanks,
Andrew

Just a small bug: when using the epoch as a date, rdiff-backup prints the error message for invalid date formats.

I'm guessing the date is just converted to seconds from epoch, which in this case is 0 and causes some test to fail.
