Please explain exact number of char to reproduce crash.
And if you manage to crash weechat, then please enable core files and then please attach trace under gdb.

use urxvt, shift+ctrl + any number > ~ 10 digits => buffer unsuable and if you try to close it using /buffer close <x>, it crashes with *** glibc detected *** weechat-curses: free(): invalid pointer: 0x09372c60 ***
