In git we now have a new "Master" Bus.

So you can do:

AudioTracks -> SubGroups -> Sheet Master -> Master

The Master Bus is global, so every Track/SubGroup in a Sheet and Sheet Master can output to Master.

Managing many tracks over multiple sheets gives you the option to use a Sheet as a 'track folder' which in turn makes Sheet Master a 'Pre Master Out' for the Sheet.

Does this fullfil your feature request ?

Remon

P.S.
In the Project Manager, you can toggle the 'Sheets are Track Folders' to on, so Playback and WorkCursors stay in sync on all Sheets.

If you want to preserve settings for a lot of jack ports (and i've got hundreds of them) then download and install an app called jack_snapshot, if it's not in your distro.

It's a great app that stores your current settings, and saves you hours of porting.

I assume from your request related to using jack, you're talking about another type of group, into which you route your subgroups, yes?
If so, it's under discussion at the moment.

Stay Tuned, as the jack framework in T is getting lots of tender care at the moment.

At the moment we have the feature subgroup in traverso, and thats great. If you work on huge projects e.g. 24 or much more tracks, you adjust tracks against other tracks and add them to a subgroup. Now we have, let me say, 12 subgroups. Wouldnt it be better, to have another feature "group" to adjust subgroups to other subgroups and add them to groups (also with gain, pan, plugin) before they go to the outputs?

If you make that in Jack, the problem is, the connections are not persistent. After a fail. or close travervso, or any other changes, you must reconnect to much connections by hand.

tracks > subgroups > group > Master-out

Makes that sense?
