All checked... seems the problem is in the terminal emulator I'm using; rxvt-unicode as term option in screenrc works only for one of them. I'll find out which is better, then.

Sorry for the noise.

Did you check whole FAQ for display problems? Most of times, it's not WeeChat problem, but external problem (like $TERM, weechat not linked to libncursesw, terminal not in UTF-8 (or not like screen), ..).

Just tried WeeChat into screen with rxvt-unicode and I still have a corrupted display. Even changing TERM in screen to "screen", "screen-256color" doesn't solve the problem.

I made some tests with your screenrc file, I have no display problem.
What kind of problems do you have? Is it specific to a terminal?
Can you try with urxvt (rxvt-unicode) and tell me if you still have problem?
Sometimes it's related to $TERM var, check that under screen, you have "screen" or "screen-256color".

When used within GNU Screen, with "label" option enabled, WeeChat display isn't correctly refreshed. Usually only the bottom default bar is affected; in other cases entire lines of chat are messed up. A manual refresh (with Ctrl-L) doesn't resolve
